📸 About the Sessions

  • How long does a typical session last?

    • I offer multiple session types, typically they can range from 30 minutes to 2+ hours. I am more than happy to work within your range given the package that you select. If you want to do a smaller session, I am available for mini sessions that range from 15-20 minutes.

  • How many photos will I receive?

    • That depends on the package and type of session we will be doing. Generally, you can expect to receive ten to 50. See my Sessions page for more details.

  • Do you help with posing?

    • Absolutely! With each session, it is my goal to ensure you feel confident and comfortable no matter where the photos are being taken. I have a wide variety of posing options. I’m always up to hear your thoughts if you have a fun or unique idea as well.

  • What if I’ve never had professional photos before?

    • That is perfectly okay! Each session is meant to be as informal as possible. I will work to ensure we build a connection before just going in for the photo.

  • Can I bring outfit changes or props?

    • Definitely! Based on the packages I offer, you have the ability to change between one, two, or more outfits.

💰 Booking & Pricing

  • How do I book a session?

    • Great question! There are a few different options. You can select the booking section of my page and fill out a few details. I will contact you within 24 hours to discuss next steps and schedule a date/time that works for you. You can also message me via social media (e.g., Instagram, Facebook).

  • What’s required to secure my date? (deposit, contract, etc.)

    • All sessions require a contract which can be sent to you digitally before our session. This will include the date, time, deliverables, price, and deposit.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

    • I don’t currently have an option to accept payment plans, but if there is a situation I am more than willing to work with you and be flexible.

  • What happens if I need to reschedule?

    • If you cannot make your scheduled session, please reach out at least 24 hours in advance. We can work to get your session rescheduled for another time at no additional fee. If cancellation is necessary, the deposit will not be refundable.

🌤️ Weather & Location

  • What if it rains or the weather’s bad?

    • Sometimes nature happens. If the weather is unfavorable for our session, we can reschedule at no additional cost. On the off chance you want to continue with the shoot in spite of the weather, we can do that too!

  • Do you help choose locations?

    • Absolutely! I have a lot of locations that I recommend. See the “Locations” page for more details.

  • Do you travel outside of St. Charles/St. Louis?

    • I am more than happy to meet your needs in destinations. Currently, I will travel up to one hour outside of the St. Louis area. If traveling longer than that, there may be a travel fee added to your session.

🕒 Turnaround & Delivery

  • How long until I get my gallery?

    • For a standard, non-wedding session, you can expect to have an online gallery available within four weeks. This may be earlier depending on the type of session booked.

  • How are the photos delivered?

    • Galleries can be sent to you via online storage options like Google Drive or other similar sharing options.

  • Will I get both color and black-and-white versions?

    • I aim to take photos that showcase stunning and vibrant colors. However, if you want to receive black-and-white options, I’m more than willing to accommodate.

🐾 Pets, Couples, and more!

  • Are pets allowed in sessions?

    • I offer dedicated pet sessions, but if you can’t get enough of your furry friends, they are more than welcome to join you in your session. There may be an additional fee for inclusion.

  • Do you shoot small events or weddings?

    • I will definitely work on small events. These events will be based on an hourly rate rather than a session basis. I will also happily capture your special day. For both options, we will set up a time to discuss your needs, so they can be personalized to you!

  • Can I include my partner or family in the shoot?

    • Absolutely! Sharing special moments with your special someone is one of my favorite ways to capture wonderful moments.

✨ Editing & Usage

  • Do you retouch photos?

    • I utilize professional editing software (i.e., Lightroom) to retouch your photos and ensure that you are thrilled with the end result. If not, please feel free to reach out to me and I’ll happily adjust.

  • Can I post the photos online?

    • Absolutely! I always encourage you to share your special moments with friends and family. All that I ask is that you reference me if you were happy with the work I did for you!

  • Can I print them anywhere I like?

    • After each session is complete and you have your photos. I send a copyright release and licensing option. This way you can get your photos printed at any location convenient for your needs.
